Ljubomir Dragović
translated by Saša Važić
Dva glasa čujem:
iz dubine školjke
dubinu mora.
two voices –
from the depth of a shell
the depth of the sea
Nikakvo vrijeme.
Starci sjede
opuštenih štapova
Rough weather.
Old men’s canes
dangle from their chairs.
Sve je to u snu
moje umorne majke
Lupa prakljača.
All that is but a dream
of my tired mother.
Beating of laundry sticks.
Večernji mjesec.
Samujući vidjeh li
sva svoja lica.
Evening moon.
Being alone, have I seen
all of my faces.
Proljetni galeb.
Sa talasavog brijega
usklik bjeline.
Spring gull.
From the waving hill
a shout of whiteness
